The secluded Piethorne Valley is hidden from view and deep in the folds of the high Pennine moors. Victorian reservoirs built to supply water to the surrounding area dominate the valley and provide a wonderful backdrop to this moorland walk. The valley holds many delights, with rolling hills, stunning scenery, picturesque waterways, and a wealth of history all waiting to be discovered.
