This 50 mile curcular route takes walkers through some of the most spectacular countrysidesof Rochdale and the South Pennines, with wooded valleys in the South of the Borough to high open moorland in the North, the Rochdale Way provides stunning views of the areas beautiful countryside and is the perfect way to some of the areas most interesting attractions. Along the way you will pass through pretty river valleys, peaceful woodlands and historic towns and villages filled with grand architecture revealing a proud industrial past.Whether you choose to walk the entire route or split the walk inti smaller sections, you will find no better way to explore the beauty of Rochdale and the South Pennines.
