About

Join Skylight Circus Arts for a free circus workshop and guided walk to the site of the famous 'Rochdale Scorpion' fossil find.

Have a go at juggling and plate-spinning before heading out through Broadfield Park to see where local woman, Mary Lange, made her discovery in 1903. There are lots of points of interest along the way.

After heading back to Touchsotnes Museum and Gallery in Rochdale Town Centre you can grab yourself a brew and cake at a special price. Then settle in for a short film produced by Skylight featuring a much more recent fossil find... Mammoth.

These events are part of the National Lottery Open Week #ThanksToYou and are made possible with the support of The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
